Other Health Benefits From CAPE in Bio 30 Propolis

In addition to its cancer-suppressing properties, CAPE is one of the important antioxidant compounds in Bio 30 propolis.

CAPE decreases oxidative stress and has demonstrated neuro-protective properties in different test systems.

The antioxidant properties are also connected to its documented anti-inflammatory activity in vitro and in vivo. CAPE suppresses acute inflammation and accelerates cutaneous wound healing.

The antibacterial activity of CAPE has been demonstrated in vitro against micro-organisms such as Enterococcus faecalis, Listeria monocytogenes, and Staphylococcus aureus.

Bulgarian researcher Vassya Bankova says CAPE’s anti-influenza virus activity is of special importance.

“In general, the combination of anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral action is appropriate with respect to the application of propolis preparations containing CAPE for wound healing and for treating of sore throat and common cold.”

“CAPE has even demonstrated excellent fungicidal properties on fungi infecting tomato; it was found to be more effective than a commercial fungicide and without negative effects on tomato fruit.”
